During the 2023 Six Nations Championship, England will play three home fixtures against Scotland, Italy, and France, and two away fixtures against Wales and Ireland. England has suffered injuries to key players.

England Rugby: Current Challenges & Crisis

Elliot Daly and Jamie George who are the key players withdrew from training in preparation for England's upcoming Six Nations tournament opener against Scotland at home. Daly, a utility back, has had trouble with his hamstring, and George has been out with a concussion from Sunday's Saracens loss to Edinburgh.

Due to a calf injury, experienced England rugby team forward Courtney Lawes has also missed training ahead of the Calcutta Cup match against Scotland on February 4 at Twickenham. The Saracens duo of Elliot Daly and Jamie George withdrew from training on Tuesday in preparation for England's upcoming Six Nations tournament opener against Scotland at home.

The Rugby Football Union announced that Ollie Lawrence and Jamie Blamire have been included in the roster and will participate in a Tuesday training session at Twickenham. With Exeter's Luke Cowan-Dickie already out with an ankle injury, England already had problems at hooker.
